HOW IT WORKS
Pool is a wonderful game, sport and lifestyle. Cue Sports are on the rise and people want to play more now than ever before. The problem is that finding other players can be difficult. Sure you could wander into a bar or pool hall and hope to find a player of some sort, but would they be at your skill level? What if you wanted to put up some money for a match? Finding a money game can be even harder. The Pool Community deserves more. Pool players should be able to find or host their game, whenever, wherever.
Salotto is a mobile app that allows pool players find and host games of pool any place where a pool table is present. This can be at a business or in your own home. Salotto allows members to keep track of stats, win prizes, compete against pool players at their skill level or beyond.
Can I really Submit my Salotto matches to FargoRate? Yes, Salotto and FargoRate both believe in the pool industry and that it needs to grow. Allowing this partnership gives players the chance to get better and track progress in a way they otherwise wouldn’t be able to. Below are the submission guidelines and explanation for how this works. During match creation you MUST elect to send results to FargoRate by toggling “yes” for match submission to FagoRate.
All matches are submitted regardless of outcome.
Matches must be time stamped (happens automatically through Salotto)
Results are publicly viewable through the FargoRate app.
Incomplete matches or contested matches will be submitted regardless of status after 48 hours.
Fees Apply, much like league/tournament fees go to the labor on the back end.
8-9-10 ball games and matches are all that is considered for submission.
Matches MUST be started in the app at the time of actual match start of play or they will be removed.
In order for matches to be considered for submission, account profiles must be complete with name as it appears in the FargoRate App, phone number, and email (not a private relay ID) so players can be searched within the FargoRate app to view public matches.
If matches fail to meet submission guidelines they will not be accepted. Furthermore, any matches in question or are unverifiable will be removed. Pool is a game of Honor and dishonesty is not tolerated.
All matches submitted to FargoRate include certain submission parameters for verification and authenticity.
Players in question may be asked to provide additional details of play that may include but not limited to, live streaming, witnesses, screenshots, game information, etc.
OPEN: Create or join an Open List to keep track of who’s winning more racks. Any game win or loss against any player, on or off the list will affect the enrolled players positions on Open Lists. Think of this like a “group” where those joining the list are ranked. The Open List is a great option to be ranked with your friends, no matter where they live and play 1V1 Salotto matches.
CLOSED: Only players playing others (joined and accepted) on the list will affect standings on closed lists. Use “Closed Position Wins” for a “top of” type list where those members may eventually play anyone else on the list.
