Starting with Salotto is simple. The best way to get acquainted with Salotto is to play a match with a friend. The Salotto app allows users to play a competitive 1V1 match anywhere, on any table and at any time.

Once both players have downloaded Salotto and created accounts, either player can “Create a Match” with the desired game (8, 9 or 10 Ball) and race length (1-25). Salotto Free users have 1 free match creation per month and challengers can join for free. Salotto Pro users have unlimited match creation with no advertisements. Matches can be sent to FargoRate with a cost associated for both Salotto Free and Pro members (see cost breakdown in “Create Game”).

After the match is created, the challenger sees the match pop up in “available matches” on the home screen. The creator of the match must accept the challenger and start the game. It’s important both players have their location services on, and/or have entered a home pool hall in their profile. Make sure you discuss the rules of the match ahead of time with your opponent to avoid any confusion.

Once the match is started by the player who created it, play through your set using Salotto to keep track of your wins and losses like a digital scorecard. One or both players can enter individual game wins/losses into the app that will reflect on both devices. When the final game is won for the match, each player will be asked to verify the outcome and give an “Action Rating” to their opponent. After both players have confirmed the results of the match, the outcome will be automatically added to Salotto Ranking and both players will be eligible for Salotto Monthly Prizes.
